Summer Intern Spotlight – Amber, Daniel & Jenna
Meet our 2026 summer interns!
During their three months with us, Amber, Daniel, and Jenna have gained experience across multiple sectors of the company, making meaningful contributions to our daily operations. As the summer ends and they return to school, we asked them to reflect on their intern experience.
Amber Estevez – Marketing & Client Relations Intern
Q) What does a typical day in your role look like?
A: My typical day includes writing blog posts and email communications, and talking with customers on the phone. Additionally, I work a lot on researching the areas we service to learn more about how we can help communities that struggle with tick and mosquito concerns.
Q) What drew you to this internship at Pure Solutions?
A: I was drawn to this internship with Pure Solutions because it started as a family company, which is something I really resonated with, and I think that energy is maintained by the excitement and friendliness we have in the office.
Q) What is your favorite part about working at Pure Solutions?
A: My favorite part about working for Pure Solutions is the team. Everyone is super friendly and willing to help answer any questions. It’s a super collaborative environment where even as an intern you can make a difference. I also love how connected us interns are; we frequently have “Intern Lunch” together.
Daniel Atie – Sales and Client Relations Intern
Q. What does a typical day in your role look like?
A: I help with customer communication, proposals, scheduling, and day-to-day sales and client needs.
Q: What’s some advice you’d give to future interns?
A: Ask questions and get involved as much as possible. The more initiative you take, the more you’ll learn and get out of the experience.
Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
A: I’m originally from Panama and moved to the U.S for college, which has been a really unique experience.
Jenna Tumpney – Business Management Intern
Q. What does a typical day in your role look like?
A: A typical day starts with me going through our inboxes, answering client texts/emails, and calling customers. I then send out proposals, follow up with our customers to ensure their services are going as planned, and generate daily reports. I am also working on marketing projects to help improve customer outreach.
Q: What’s something you’ve learned during your time at Pure Solutions?
During my time at Pure Solutions, I have really learned how to delegate tasks and enhance my customer communication. I am more confident in problem-solving with clients and handling professional situations on my own.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: Outside of work, I like to work out, walk my dogs, travel, go to the beach, and cook. I also have my pilot’s license, so I enjoy flying on the weekends.
