How The Cycle Works
From food scraps to finished compost, this sustainable system begins at home. Homeowners place food scraps, including meat, dairy, and other compostable materials, into their Black Earth Compost bin. Black Earth Compost then collects the bin curbside and transports the materials to one of their Massachusetts composting facilities.
There, the scraps are transformed into a highly diverse, nutrient-rich organic compost. The finished product is lab-tested and screened to 3/8″ for a smooth, consistent texture that integrates seamlessly into lawns without smothering the grass.
Pure Solutions then incorporates this compost into our organic lawn care programs, applying it alongside other treatments to improve soil health and promote stronger, more resilient lawns. Compost adds valuable organic matter and beneficial microorganisms, supporting a healthy, thriving ecosystem.

Nutrient-Rich Organic Compost
